Job summary

The student will support in preparing and implementing department activities and provide information or training regarding projects. Enrollment in six or more semester hours is required for fall/spring; three+ hours for summer, with restrictions

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general office and clerical procedures.
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records and files.
• Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with university faculty and staff, students, and the general public.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provides office assistance to the department by assisting staff in routine clerical duties and responsibilities.
• Answers phone calls, routes calls, takes messages, greets and directs visitors to staff.
• Assists in file and records maintenance.
• Assists in the preparation and implementation of departmental project/program activities.
• Provides general information and training regarding project/program.
