Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking a Student Nurse Technician to assist on a 40-bed medical-surgical unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This part-time, third-shift role offers hands-on experience in titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, wound care and end-of-life care while you continue your nursing studies.

Eligible students must be enrolled in an ADN or BSN program, complete pharmacology and med-surg coursework, and obtain BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must work 12 hours per week
• Active enrollment in an ADN or BSN nursing program
• Completed at least one Pharmacology course and two Med Surg theory/clinical courses
• Active on Nebraska Medication Aide registry or able within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated effective communication skills and BLS within 30 days of hire
