Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital is seeking a Student Nurse Tech to support the Med/Surg 2 team in a newly built 100-bed facility focused on short-stay surgical procedures. You will perform direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse, contributing to a patient-centered environment.

PRN role requires a minimum of 3 shifts every 6 weeks with weekend options, and completion of the first semester of a nursing program with a clinical component.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited RN program and actively progressing.
• First semester completed with a clinical experience required.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assist nurse with patient education and care activities.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available for patient needs.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of the nursing team.
• Collect clinical data and report abnormal findings to the nurse.
• Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
