Job summary

Select Medical's Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Student Nurse Tech (Future Registered Nurse) for PRN/Per Diem Night shifts, 12-hour blocks. The role requires current enrollment in an accredited nursing program and proof of year one completion.

You will assist with vital signs, patient care, and basic nursing tasks while gaining hands-on experience aligned with NCLEX requirements. The position offers extensive orientation, potential advancement, and benefits including 401k

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing school (ADN or BSN) and proof of first year completion.
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and aseptic practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions and work with a care team.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Assist with catheter removal, finger sticks, urine/stool collection and ostomy care.
• Deliver meals and document oral intake; assist feeding when needed.
• Turn and reposition immobile patients and support mobility programs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as required.
