Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved nursing program and have completed fundamentals of nursing.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 upon hire and a grade of C or above in all coursework.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in patient care or on-the-job training through an approved nursing program.
• Must be able to work under direct supervision and meet age-specific patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing staff and performs selected nursing care activities.
• Takes and records vital signs and documents patient status.
• Prepares patient environment and supplies for care/treatment.
• Maintains patient records and completes documentation in a timely manner.
• Works within isolation precautions and follows safety policies.
