Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Student Nurse Apprentice for PRN roles across all locations and shifts. The position supports nursing care under supervision, with duties spanning basic patient care and ADL assistance.

Eligible nursing students in accredited RN or LPN programs must have completed foundations; BLS certification required and current for 90 days post-hire. Shift options include Day and Night rotations at Lee Health campuses.

Qualifications

• Enrolled nursing student in an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Must have completed the foundations/fundamentals semester.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
• Basic Life Support updated for 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
• Assist in implementing components of the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, comfort, safety, nutrition and elimination needs, and basic procedures.
