We’re seeking a Student Nurse Aide to join our growing team!

Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with regard to attendance are extremely important for this job. The ability to attend work regularly and on time, work cooperatively and politely with others, and effectively multi-task in a stressful environment are also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient care only in areas where training has been received.
2. Be accountable for personal care (e.g., grooming, bathing, catheter care, peri care, dressing) and observe residents within patient care policy guidelines.
3. Identify and report any condition needing management attention.
4. Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
5. Assist with ambulation and transfers using appropriate assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
6. Routinely turn and position patients.
7. Support the nursing department by assisting with non-nursing tasks such as bed-making, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and gathering supplies.
8. Perform range of motion exercises and reality orientation with residents as directed.

Qualifications:

1. Provide written proof of completing 16 hours of ADL training by an authorized school or instructor.
2. Basic computer knowledge.
3. Good communication skills, self-discipline, and patience.
4. Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
5. Ability to follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
