Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of student writers, editors, photographers, and designers.
• Plan and oversee content for digital editions of the student newspaper.
• Edit and review articles for clarity, accuracy, style, and adherence to journalistic standards.
• Assign stories, manage deadlines, and coordinate weekly editorial meetings.
• Collaborate with Transcript faculty advisor on best practices and publication goals.
• Ensure diversity of voices and inclusive storytelling across campus.
• Maintain communication with student contributors and campus stakeholders.
• Manage the newspaper’s digital presence, including website updates and social media.
