Job summary

The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) at The California State University, San Bernardino invites eligible students for a Museum Assistant - Student Assistant position. This student employee role supports daily museum operations, front desk services, educational activities, and coordination with staff and faculty.

Under supervision, you will greet visitors, answer questions, assist with tours and events, work with the Learning and Engagement team to create activities, and help

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Strong written and verbal English communication abilities.
• Ability to work well in a student environment and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the museum front desk and provide accurate campus information.
• Assist with museum events, setup and teardown, and direct attendees as needed.
• Lead tours and develop educational activities with the Learning and Engagement team.
• Assist with collections handling, documentation, and storage organization.
• Support administration and daily museum operations as assigned.
