Job summary

McDowell Church in Scottsdale is seeking a Student Pastor to lead a growing ministry for grades 6–12 and their families. You will set vision, develop leaders, plan gatherings, camps, and service opportunities, and oversee teaching, care, and events.

This role blends visible leadership with relational work: knowing students, mentoring volunteers, partnering with parents, and creating environments where students take meaningful steps with Jesus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead volunteer teams and develop leaders.
• Strong relational and communication skills with students and families.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and calendars effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate the vision for McDowell Students (grades 6–12).
• Oversee gatherings, small groups, and student pathways for follow-up.
• Develop student leaders, recruit volunteers, and manage events and camps.
• Provide pastoral care and build partnerships with parents and schools.
