Job summary

A growing church in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Student Pastor/Student Ministry Director to lead its student ministry. The ideal candidate will oversee discipleship, outreach, and care for middle and high school students while building a strong volunteer team. Key responsibilities include engaging students in relational environments, partnering with parents, and developing a teaching strategy rooted in Scripture. Candidates should have at least 3 years of youth ministry experience and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in youth ministry or a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and adhere to all safety standards.
• A vibrant personal walk with Jesus and alignment with the church's theology.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of ministry to middle and high school students.
• Develop and lead a teaching strategy rooted in Scripture.
• Recruit, train, and shepherd a team of adult and student volunteers.
• Plan events and evangelistic opportunities for students.
• Partner with parents in the spiritual development of students.
• Manage the student ministry calendar and budget.
