Job summary

Cherry Hills Community Church is seeking a Student Ministry Coordinator to provide operational and ministry support for middle and high school ministries. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment in or completion of a college program related to education, management, or a similar field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a church, educational, or recreational setting is desirable.
• Basic understanding of child development principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classrooms and manage check-in systems for weekend and midweek services.
• Lead student environments when volunteer gaps arise to ensure safe, welcoming spaces.
• Coordinate lesson preparation and organize teaching materials.
• Plan and execute Student Ministries logistics for services, events, and retreats.
• Oversee check-in/check-out procedures and student transitions.
• Set up and tear down ministry environments to ensure welcoming, organized spaces.
• Support lobby engagement, guest follow-up, and ministry atmosphere.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, background checks, and scheduling.
