Student technologist will use the laboratory computer system to review report and call critical values to various healthcare professionals. Student techs will perform and document quality control, quality assurance and preventative maintenance on instrumentation. Student employees will work in the following areas of the lab, chemistry, immunochemistry, blood gas, hematology and coagulation. The laboratory also provides training for residents, new staff and medical technology students. The laboratory is staffed 24 hours per day, Sunday through Saturday.**Position Summary**The student laboratory technologist performs routine automated and manual procedures, verifies and reports test requests and results.
