The Surgical Technologist assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating/procedural room, ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies, and supporting the surgical team throughout the procedure. The Surgical Technologist performs their specific roles and duties with high standards, to create an atmosphere that maximizes patient care outcomes, improving customer service levels, reducing the length of hospitalization and decreasing costs. The Surgical Technologist reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm and mutual respect.**Position Summary**The Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. The Surgical Technologist understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the surgeon’s needs. The Surgical Technologist has expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques and is constantly on vigil for maintaining the sterile field.
