ShockStarter is looking for students to support marketing and promotional needs for Wichita area projects, departments, and small businesses. We’re seeking individuals who can showcase their skills and articulate what they want to learn.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, including creating social content, designing visuals with Adobe Creative Suite, analyzing branding and online presence, and measuring engagement to drive results.

Qualifications

• Graphic design capabilities for social content and branding.
• Ability to analyze a business's online presence and provide actionable recommendations.
• Data analytics to track views, followers, and engagement.
• Strong copywriting skills to translate technical language for broad audiences; experience with InDesign a plus.
• SEO/content management knowledge including WordPress/Squarespace and basic coding familiarity.
• Social media management experience across multiple platforms.
• Photography skills with editing in Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage content for social media channels in line with target audiences.
• Design visual identities for clients, including logos, websites, and print media.
• Analyze online branding and social metrics to offer actionable recommendations.
• Monitor metrics like views and engagement to set goals.
• Oversee content creation across platforms using data analytics to optimize outcomes.
