You will write hometown news releases on achievements, craft Faculty Notables for the Bear Briefings e-newsletter, and assist with video production and social media content while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Excellent journalistic writing skills and knowledge of AP Style.
• Must be a self-starter with good communication and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Write stories about students, faculty, staff and alumni for University publications.
• Write press releases and media pitches for events.
• Prepare hometown news releases on achievements.
• Write and fact check Faculty Notables for Bear Briefings.
