Job summary

JOB PURPOSE

Provide Lifeguarding services during scheduled lap swims in Zehntbauer Swimming Pavilion. Water chemistry checks and light cleaning/maintenance around pool deck.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must hold current Red Cross certification for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED. Punctuality for all shifts and ability to perform well without immediate supervision are a must. Ability to utilize skills under high pressure, act quickly and responsibly, work independently, implement/initiate emergency action plan. Ability to communicate quickly, clearly and precisely and maintain records.
