Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. in Redlands seeks a Manager of Campus Life Activities to lead student clubs, NSO, intramurals, and campus engagement initiatives. You will report to the Dean of Student Campus Life and shape a cohesive student life ecosystem.

The role focuses on policy governance, training, budget oversight, assessment, and cross-department collaboration to foster belonging and leadership development across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in event planning and execution, including event development, management, and assessment.
• Experience supporting or coordinating marketing, communications, or outreach efforts for student programs, events, or organizations.
• Familiarity with using social media platforms and digital tools to promote programs, share information, and engage student audiences.
• Ability to collaborate on content creation that aligns with institutional branding and messaging.
• Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the campus life ecosystem including chartering, re-registration, compliance, and ongoing organizational support.
• Serve as steward and point of contact for student organization policy, manual, governance standards, and operational expectations.
• Partner with campus departments to communicate policies related to organizations, space use, reservations, and events.
• Lead marketing campaigns for Campus Life to increase student engagement and oversee the programmatic calendar and communications.
