• Provide high-quality customer service to meet patrons' needs.
• Check in/out library materials.
• Ensure the integrity, privacy, and confidentiality of patron records and transactions.
• Answer the phone and relay questions to appropriate staff.
• Assist library users with basic reference, resource, and technology questions.
• Help patrons locate items through familiarity with the library layout.
• Explain library policies such as reserves, printing, and computer use.
• Provide basic technology support including Canvas, email, and office software.
• Assist with copiers, printers, and library equipment.
• Answer library-related and campus-wide directional/informational questions.
• Shelve and shift materials accurately.
• Clean shelves and maintain assigned areas.
• Conduct shelf reading for collection inventory.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
