Job summary

The MLK Center at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Student Organization Advisor I to support campus-wide initiatives and supervise student staff. The role includes event management, budget tracking, and collaborative work with academic units and community partners to raise awareness of programs.

Under the Director's supervision, you will help develop curriculum, advise student organizations, and contribute to recruitment and retention efforts across the state and region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3 years related paid work experience in student affairs or supervision.
• Preferred degree in Student Affairs or Higher Education.
• Familiarity with other languages.

Responsibilities

• Help implement programs and campus-wide initiatives under the Director.
• Supervise students and manage program budgets; track and monitor resources.
• Coordinate, present co-curricular initiatives in collaboration with academic units and partners.
