Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools in Minnetonka, MN seeks an advisor/coordinator for enrichment activities. You will advise student participants on skills for successful performance, supervise behavior, and oversee organization and administration of the enrichment team.

Plan seasonal activity schedules, arrange facilities, coordinate with the Student Activities Office, hire and develop assistant advisors, ensure safety, and maintain discipline and program standards.

Qualifications

• Experience advising/coaching student participants in enrichment activities.
• Ability to manage student behavior during events.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise individual student participants in the skills necessary for successful performance.
• Manage and supervise student behavior during activity events.
• Responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of advising/coaching an enrichment team.
• Provide a positive learning environment for student participants.
• Plan and schedule seasonal activity in accordance with District policy.
• Coordinate with the Student Activities Office on scheduling and area/facility preparation.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
• Attend, supervise and lead all related activities pertinent to the area of advising.
