Job summary

Penn State Beaver seeks a Peer Activities Leader (PAL), a student leadership role aimed at strengthening campus clubs and enhancing student belonging. PALs act as peer liaisons, offering mentorship, guidance, and leadership support to officers and members across organizations.

In collaboration with the Student Engagement Specialist and other PALs, you will identify growth opportunities, foster leadership practices, and create meaningful experiences that connect students to campus life and

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Active involvement or interest in campus life and student activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student groups.
• Willingness to take initiative and support peers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a peer liaison to assigned clubs and organizations.
• Establish consistent communication with club leaders and members.
• Provide mentorship and leadership development to officers and cabinet members.
• Attend or assist club meetings and help improve participation and engagement.
• Assist organizations with campus involvement processes and events.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the Student Engagement Specialist.
• Support planning of Club Presidents Meetings and leadership trainings.
• Help develop resources and training opportunities for officers.
