Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Dayton, OH seeks a Student Government Advisor to guide and support student leaders in dorm and campus activities. You will enforce respectful conduct, coordinate dorm events, and help students explore leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1-2 years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Enforce appropriate behavior and be a positive role model for students.
• Implement and coordinate Dorm Court activities.
• Conduct student focus groups.
• Counsel students regarding leadership opportunities and obligations.
• Coordinate the Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) semi-annually.
• Assist in coordinating evening activities and tutoring in dorms.
• Assist in community service participation with the Business Community Liaison.
• Support residential staff to ensure dorm coverage during breaks and lunches.
• Collaborate with Career Counseling and Career Training to teach leadership training for non-residential students.
• Other duties as assigned.
