Job summary

Upper Crust Food Service in the United States seeks a dedicated dishwashing team member to support a high-volume kitchen serving Greek life. You will maintain a clean, sanitary environment, wash and stock, and assist with food prep under the supervision of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food safety handler and sanitation certification within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.
• State/local regulations require food safety training and sanitation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors.
• May perform a variety of food preparation duties as directed by the Head Chef/Sous Chef.
