As a kitchen helper, you will:- Support kitchen staff in the preparation, production and service of culturally inspired meals
- Work with a diverse team under the direction of culinary staff
- Present delicious, safe, fresh food that is cooked to the specifications for the meal
Job Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of food through multiple methods, using industrial equipment (we will train)
- Assist in maintaining safety & sanitation standards in food handling and preparation
- Wash dishes and maintain clean work areas, equipment, utensils and surfaces
- Provide excellent services to guests
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiarity with food service and food safety methods is desirable but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented
- Flexibility in scheduling (primarily on weekends, including holidays) concurrent with program needs
- Pass a background check in accordance with local labor laws
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to read recipes in English
