University of Kansas seeks a Student Program Manager of Sports for the Intramural Sports program for Fall 2026. The role supports 30+ sports, coordinates events, and oversees data and communications for thousands of participants.

The position requires CPR/AED and NFHS Concussion in Sports certifications, with opportunities to lead staff trainings, and ensure smooth operation of daily activities in the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center.

Qualifications

Strong written communication demonstrated on application materials.
Prior experience playing or coordinating team sports.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Intramural Sports program, including planning, promotion, execution, and evaluation of activities.
Coordinate registration, league building, equipment, and evaluation for 30+ sports and events.
Serve as liaison for 800+ teams and 5,000+ participants annually; manage data entry for standings.
Schedule creation for over 1,200 annual games and assist with supervisor/official schedules.
Lead staff meetings and trainings and contribute to policies and procedures.
