The South Carolina Governor's School for Agriculture at John de la Howe seeks an Interventionist to implement instructional programs, prepare materials, and provide remediation and behavioral support for students. The role includes non-instructional tasks such as recordkeeping and supervision, under the supervision of the Special Education teacher/Administrator and principal.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and experience with children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and experience working with children.

Responsabilités

• Implement reading, writing and math intervention plans.
• Provide individual and small group intervention instruction, including MTSS procedures and strategies.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with teachers concerning student progress.
• Use student data to guide instruction.
• Plan and maintain procedures for managing student behaviors to maximize instructional time.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle records per HIPPA and FERPA rules.
