Job summary

The RFCUNY Research Foundation of the City University of New York seeks a Student & Partnership Coordinator to support student interns, manage internship recruitment, and liaise with employer partners across LaGuardia Community College. This front-facing role emphasizes communication, program development, and data management to strengthen career opportunities for students.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in a collegiate environment and comfort

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate program in business, marketing, public policy, communication, public relations, or related major.
• Experience in a collegiate environment to understand academic culture and interact with internship staff and faculty.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for student interns and employer partners.
• Lead internship recruitment: screening, enrollment, orientation, and support.
• Ensure use of evidence-based practices in service delivery.
• Manage employer recruitment and internship procurement.
• Facilitate professional development workshops and trainings.
• Maintain programmatic data reporting and internship database.
• Provide individual and group support for student interns.
• Develop tools to streamline policies and procedures.
