Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) invites qualified candidates to join as Student & Partnership Coordinator at LaGuardia Community College. In this front-facing role, you will support student interns, partner with employers, and coordinate internship activities to ensure strong outcomes for participants and campus collaborators.

You will manage recruitment, provide training, oversee data reporting, and develop tools to streamline policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and active enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program.
• Experience in a collegiate environment to understand academic culture.
• Familiarity with corporate and nonprofit HR management.
• Understanding of experiential education and career advising.
• Experience presenting workshops or public speaking.
• Technology proficiency: email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for student interns and employer partners.
• Leads all aspects of internship recruitment: screening, enrollment, orientation, and support.
• Ensure training and use of evidence-based practices in service delivery.
• Manage employer recruitment and internship procurement.
• Facilitate professional development workshops and training.
• Maintain all programmatic data reporting.
• Provide individual and group support for student interns.
• Cultivate relationships with employers to develop internship opportunities.
• Assist with employer orientation, training, and ongoing support.
• Develop tools to streamline policies and procedures.
• Conduct site visits to internship sites to evaluate relevance.
• Maintain internship database for tracking.
• Other duties as assigned.
