Job summary

Wiley|Wilson in Lynchburg, VA invites students to join a paid Civil Engineering internship for Summer 2027. Interns will work alongside licensed engineers on real projects in a 100% employee-owned firm, gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in civil design and early project planning.

You will participate in client meetings and site visits when possible; the internship is primarily in-office with a flexible balance between office and remote work to be determined with your manager.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program enrollment required.
• Must have completed at least your second year by summer 2027.

Responsibilities

While Wiley|Wilson offers flexibility through our work-from-home policy, summer internships are primarily an in-office experience. The exact balance of office and remote work will be determined between you and your manager.
