Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a summer 2027 paid Civil Engineering intern for our Alexandria, VA office. Interns will work with licensed engineers on real projects within a 100% employee-owned firm, gaining meaningful experience and exposure to civil design and early planning.

You’ll assist with civil design, attend client meetings, and participate in site visits as available, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program.
• Completion of at least your second year by summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil design and early project planning on active projects.
• Work on active projects alongside licensed engineers.
• Attend client meetings to gain exposure to project requirements and expectations.
• Participate in site and construction visits as available.
