InterVarsity on campus seeks a ministry intern to engage with the campus ministry team, casting spiritual vision and guiding students to study and apply Scripture in life.

The role focuses on evangelism, leadership growth, and cross-cultural outreach, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to partner with churches and ministry partners.

Formación

• Follower of Jesus Christ and committed to InterVarsity's values.
• Annual affirmation of InterVarsity's Statement of Agreement.
• Developing passion for evangelism and campus ministry leadership.
• Current college enrollment with willingness to intern or serve in campus ministry.

Responsabilidades

• Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to accomplishing the campus ministry team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the Mission on campus by seeking opportunities to proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel.
• Learn to guide chapters or assigned segments in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing in love for God’s people of every ethnicity and culture.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, especially those not yet following Jesus as Lord.
• Engage positively with supervision and training from staff ministry trainer and/or director.
• Assist with reporting as assigned.
• Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

About You

The company is looking for:

• A follower of Jesus Christ
• Someone who annually affirms InterVarsitys Statement of Agreement
• A developing passion for evangelism
• Demonstrated campus ministry leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, eagerness to learn, cross-cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity
• Currently enrolled in a four-year or community college; second year students and community college students may intern at two-year/community colleges; third year and above can work at four-year or community colleges; non-InterVarsity students at Christian colleges must have third or fourth year standing

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $15.51 - $20.68 per hour, funded through personal fundraising and dependent on donor support and geographic adjustments
