Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern in Project Controls to support the project controls team on a Denver-based program. This onsite internship involves developing WBS, schedules, budgets, and cost data, and assisting in earned value and ETC reporting.

You will work under limited supervision to help maintain project financials, prepare periodic status reports, and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field (Engineering/Construction).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost and schedule data.
• Ability to learn and apply project controls standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the creation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of schedules and budget data.
• Develop scope, schedule, budget, earned value and estimate to complete data for tasks.
• Analyze cost data and support EAC and ETC reporting.
• Monitor schedule progress and performance and identify issues with project management team.
• Prepare periodic status reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management and owners.
• Maintain project financials using Deltek Vantagepoint and ensure accuracy of ETC.
