Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma Foundation seeks a student employee to support Advancement Services and Foundation Grants in Edmond, OK. This 25-hour-per-week role involves data entry, gift processing, and donor stewardship within the advancement systems.

You will assist with data cleanup, maintain constituent records, and help with reports, mailings, and project work while handling sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Current UCO student who meets the University student employment enrollment requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with donor, constituent, and financial information.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn advancement databases and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data cleanup projects to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of constituent and advancement records.
• Enter and update constituent, donor, gift, pledge, and related information in the advancement database and other systems.
• Assist with gift processing, including reviewing documentation, recording gifts and pledges, and supporting accurate gift entry and acknowledgment workflows.
• Help maintain donor and constituent records, including contact information, biographical information, relationships, communication preferences, and other record updates.
• Assist with routine data quality review, duplicate record identification, coding updates, and other database maintenance activities.
• Support reconciliation, documentation, filing, scanning, and record-retention processes associated with advancement operations.
• Assist with reports, lists, mailings, projects, and other operational needs that support fundraising and donor stewardship activities.
• Provide general administrative and project support to Advancement Services and Operations staff.
• Handle donor, constituent, and financial information with discretion and in accordance with University and Foundation policies.
• Assist with other advancement services and operational responsibilities and special projects as assigned, gaining broad exposure to the systems and processes that support philanthropy.
