Job summary

TriHealth's Cat Scan Student Technologist – Bethesda Butler Hospital is a patient‑centered role for students in an Allied Health program. You will support technologists and radiologists with patient care, transport, scheduling, equipment checks, and infection control while gaining hands‑on imaging experience in a busy environment.

You’ll work under the radiologist’s direction and department supervision, caring for patients and families, and helping with equipment maintenance and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an approved Allied Health program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
• CPR certification.
• Radiation Safety awareness.
• Up to 1 year of experience in a related setting.

Responsibilities

• Complies with infection prevention procedures, safety and reliability standards.
• Supports team and department operations with patient care and equipment handling.
• Assists with care of equipment and coordinates patient flow with technologists.
• Provides patient observation, transport, and assistance with personal needs.
• Recognizes status changes and notifies the supervisor as appropriate.
• Performs required daily and monthly quality control procedures prior to use.
