Job summary

University of North Texas Housing is seeking a Student & Program Coordinator to lead outward-facing marketing and communications for the Housing and Residence Life (HRL) program in Denton. The role focuses on promoting the UNT residential experience through presentations and HRL’s social media presence.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in coordinating higher education programming, with a schedule of 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday and some after-hours events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of professional related experience coordinating or administering higher education programming or related field.
• Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HRL social media accounts, content creation, responses, and data analytics reporting.
• Attend after-hours/weekend events to document on-site experiences with photos/videos for marketing.
• Conduct on-site and off-site in-person marketing experiences (Orientations, Preview Days, UNT Live events).
• Create and disseminate mass communications to ~6,500 residents (emergency notices, room assignments, etc.).
• Compile research, develop reports, and craft presentations for leadership.
• Assist with central office management and other duties as assigned by leadership.
