Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee the health and wellness center at the Flint Hills Job Corps Center in Manhattan, KS. The RN will supervise medical staff, coordinate student health services, and ensure compliance with relevant health directives.

The role requires active RN licensure, several years of relevant experience with supervisory duties, and a commitment to youth health.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Three (3) years related experience with two (2) of which should be supervisory experience.
• Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Manage and oversee the health and wellness center for students and children.
• Provide medical care, sick call, infirmary coverage, and environmental health services.
• Coordinate physical examinations and health-related programs in line with directives.
• Ensure chronic care management for students with chronic illnesses.
• Record keeping and reporting on injuries, illnesses and disabilities.
• Provide direction and technical support in pregnancy, mental health and other health programs.
