A higher education institution based in Virginia is seeking a Health Services Coordinator to support the activities of health services, managing patient care and records. Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting medical providers, and supporting the health services operation. The ideal candidate should have a background in Nursing, relevant certifications, and experience in a clinical role. This part-time role entails working 20-26 hours per week in a dynamic academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience desired.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform and document vital signs for each patient in electronic health record.
• Provide labs or vaccines and document them.
• Assist Medical Providers during medical exams.
• Consult with students who walk in or call health services.

Connaissances

CPR and AED certification

Current license in Virginia

Phlebotomy experience

Computer experience

Experience with HIPAA & OSHA regulations
