RN-CLINIC-STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES at the University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks an experienced RN to provide comprehensive care in a college health clinic. You will assess patients, educate on health topics, triage concerns, administer medications, perform injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and IV access with precise documentation.

The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced student health environment, with a day shift and onsite work arrangement.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license (AL) required; CPR/AED certification within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and manage patient care using nursing processes.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs and history.
• Administer medications per physician orders and document appropriately.
• Perform triage of presenting concerns and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate services for patients with concurrent appointments.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality across ages
