Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatric (Philadelphia)

Our Client is in need of 2 Full‑Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to work closely with the Medical Director of a comprehensive community mental health center in Philadelphia.

The Psych NP is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and medication management for an adult outpatient chronic mental health patient population. The NP will also provide clinical observations and referrals for patients needing medical remediation. The position is viewed as integral to the treatment process and allows the NP to practice to the full extent of their authorization.

Requirements

• PA licensed Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
• DEA prescriptive authority
• Two years experience as a Psychiatric NP with extensive prior experience as a Psychiatric Nurse

• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
