UC San Diego is seeking a Student Health Physician (Per Diem) to deliver comprehensive primary health care to adolescent and young adult students in both primary and urgent care settings. The physician will perform minor procedures, manage gynecologic health, and provide counseling on preventive care.

The role includes supervising nurse practitioners and educating trainees, with compliance to UCSD SHS policies and HIPAA/FERPA requirements. Evening/weekend hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Current State of California medical license required.
• Board certification actively maintained in primary care.
• DEA certificate for controlled substances.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive primary health care in primary and urgent care settings.
• Perform minor surgery and wound care as needed.
• Manage gynecologic health and family planning services.
• Supervise nurse practitioners and other staff as assigned.
• Counsel and educate students on health maintenance.
