Job summary

Zoox in Seattle is seeking a Contract Student Worker for Forward Deployed Automation Engineering. You will help build internal tools and dashboards for the Fleet-Operations team and ensure sub-second latency in vehicle state tracking.

You will develop diagnostic tools, automate ticketing workflows, and collaborate with L3 hardware and software engineers. You must be enrolled in a BS/MS program and able to commit 40 hours per week for at least three months.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in a relevant discipline.
• Willing to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week.
• On-site at Zoox office locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal mobile-first web applications to assist field operators with dispatch, routing, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Construct live dashboards to visualize fleet health, downtime, and operator efficiency metrics.
• Interface with L3 hardware and software teams to ensure tools reflect the latest autonomous system capabilities.
