AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a Student Food Service Worker at Keuka College's Geiser Dining Commons. You will assist with hot and cold food prep, proper storage, station setup, and guest interaction in a fast-paced dining environment, while adhering to safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by greeting guests with eye contact and a smile.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask when performing duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect
