Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking Student Food Service Workers to support campus dining operations on your college campus in Webster Groves, MO. You’ll help prepare and serve menu items, welcome guests, and handle takeout orders in a fast-paced dining setting.

As a student employee, you’ll gain hands-on experience in hospitality, culinary operations, and teamwork while balancing class schedules. Weekly pay and a free employee meal during shifts are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at the college or university where the café is located.
• No food service experience required—experience in customer service, food service, retail, hospitality, or culinary settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and serve fresh menu items at a café station or serving line.
• Welcome students, faculty, staff, and campus guests with friendly, efficient service.
• Answer questions about menu offerings and help guests navigate the dining area.
• Build cashier and technology skills by operating a point-of-sale system and processing purchases.
• Label and package food for takeout and mobile orders.
• Keep the kitchen, café, equipment, utensils, and service areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next rush.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Jump in where needed and work with the team to keep service running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a student at the college or university where the café is located.
• No food service experience required—experience in customer service, food service, retail, hospitality, or culinary settings is a plus.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Ready to stay focused, organized, and positive in a fast-paced kitchen and dining environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs., bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk throughout the scheduled shift.
