Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and sanitation.
• Ability to learn and operate kitchen equipment and POS systems.
• Strong math, counting and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to work with supervisors, staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a crew of food services workers and sets assignments.
• Prepares and cooks daily meals per menus and recipes.
• Serves meals to children and adults.
• Orders food and supplies using automated system; maintains inventory.
• Records deliveries, prepares invoices and handles cash deposits.
• Prepares weekly/monthly reports and maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of service and prep areas; removes trash.
