Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills demonstrated in a fast-paced work setting.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production records.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu specifications are followed.
• Maintain sanitary department complying with health and safety codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory records and assist with orders as needed.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; provide coaching; promote growth and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe working environment and train/mentor other food service workers.
• Record maintenance on equipment and perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Recommend equipment replacements to meet facility needs.
• Be versatile in multi-tasking and assist at location during peak times.
