Job summary

Aramark at Texas State University seeks a Student Worker - Functional to assist the Campus Dietitian with outreach and daily health and wellness operations on campus.

Qualifications

• Sophomore classification or higher.
• Nutrition/Dietetics major preferred.
• Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to communicate in an appropriate manner in varying situations.
• Ability to work 8/15 hours per week.
• Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to comply with University policies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Event execution and educational outreach.
• Auditing dining locations for compliance with National Menu Labeling laws, food safety, and allergen safety protocols.
• Processing data to measure compliance to health and wellness KPIs.
• Data entry for recipe analysis.
• Setting up information tables campus-wide.
• Developing nutrition education infographics, brochures, and social media posts.
• Assisting the Registered Dietitian with daily tasks.
