Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Student Food Service Worker at Mt. St. Joseph University to support daily dining operations, prep food, setup stations, and assist guests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and properly store food, following temperature requirements and spoilage guidelines.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail, and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by greeting guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
