Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver tutoring services to students, individually or in groups, and maintain a weekly schedule.
• Assist students in developing study skills for post-secondary education.
• Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and progress.
• Personalize tutoring approaches for different learning styles and needs.
• Encourage student accountability and progress.
• Obtain syllabi/materials from staff/faculty to develop tutoring materials.
• Provide constructive feedback to staff/faculty on student progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to subject matter.
• May assist with duties such as covering the courtesy counter, answering phones, and organizing materials.
• Complete required documents accurately and timely.
• Participate in departmental meetings and other duties as assigned.
