Lone Star College-Kingwood is seeking a part-time tutor to support students and community members in assigned disciplines with tutoring and study skills development. You will deliver tutoring sessions, maintain schedules, and tailor approaches to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include recording tutoring activity, collaborating with staff to obtain syllabi, and providing constructive feedback to help students progress.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Transcripts and/or a proficiency test may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers tutoring services to students at scheduled times.
• Maintains a weekly schedule of available hours for student appointments.
• Assists students with the development of study skills necessary for post-secondary education.
• Keeps regular and accurate records of tutoring sessions.
• Modifies tutoring strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
• Provides feedback to staff and faculty regarding student progress.
